Yoshino sees the problem as people covering their true selves and not living in authenticity . Everyone is hiding something about themselves and he views that as problematic because it puts a divide with people. It is something that  people hold within themselves and if release work will be more productive. ” In practice, I expect the liberty paradigm to protect the authentic self better then the equality paradigm.” (Yoshino 544) His answer is to eliminate the whole act of covering something that society is saying not to be. Authentic people are more likely to be productive and forward thinking. Without having to constantly having to hid something about  yourself you can use that time to be doing productive things.  ” I ask us to be true to the commitments we have made by never accepting such biases as legitimate grounds for covering demands.”( yoshino 546) We need to accept that biases on bases of a persons identity shouldn’t be judged for and let them go out into society without covering.
